Jen finds that the best training methods parallel her own workouts. She understands the female body and knows how to target the trouble areas and that's exactly why she wanted to train women. For Jen, it's about taking the client to that uncomfortable place - the point where they don't think they can do one more repetition - and then having them do five more. Clients see results when they go beyond the uncomfortable.

Jen is constantly researching the training styles of top celebrity trainers, such as Tracy Anderson, Jackie Warner, and Jillian Michaels. Jen prides herself on no two workouts being alike. By progressively switching up the routines and utilizing various training methods, clients are in a constant state of improvement rather than maintenance. Jen wants to keep your muscles guessing and keep the workout mentally engaging as well. There is no such thing as a boring workout when training with Jen. Her favorite piece of workout equipment is the TRX Suspension Trainer.





As with any form of physical conditioning, the other half of the equation is nutrition. Jen encourages clients to adopt a "back-to-basics" philosophy when it comes to nutrition and diet. She strongly advocates clean, whole foods, but knows how important it is to have a cheat day. Let's face it, even the top trainers need a treat every once in a while and Jen is no stranger to ice cream.

For Jen, success doesn't equal a particular body-weight or an impressive amount of muscle mass, but rather the client's ability to use the tools and knowledge she provides to gain an informed appreciation for health and fitness.
